  1. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers We work with third-party companies that perform services on our behalf, including payment processors, email marketing platforms, customer relationship management (CRM) providers, IT and hosting vendors, and other operational service providers. These vendors are authorized to use your information only as necessary to perform services for us and are contractually required to protect your information.

Advertising & Marketing Partners We work with a third-party advertising agency and related partners — including digital ad networks and social media platforms — to plan, deliver, and measure our advertising campaigns. These partners may access certain information about your interactions with our website and ads (such as cookie identifiers, IP address, and browsing behavior) in order to serve you relevant advertising, including retargeted and geofenced ads.

Analytics Providers We share website usage data with analytics providers such as Google Analytics to help us understand site traffic and user behavior. This data is generally aggregated or anonymized where possible.

Legal & Regulatory Authorities We may disclose your information as required by applicable law, court order, or regulatory authority, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

Business Transfers In the event of a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or other corporate transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such transfer where required by law.

With Your Consent We may share your information with additional third parties when you have given us explicit consent to do so.

  1. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, maintain our business records, comply with applicable legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. The appropriate retention period varies depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it in accordance with our internal data management practices.

  1. Cookies, Tracking Technologies & Interest-Based Advertising

7.1 Technologies We Use

We and our advertising and analytics partners use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to collect information about your interactions with our website and digital advertisements. This information helps us operate and improve our website, measure the effectiveness of our marketing, and deliver advertising relevant to your interests.

7.2 Types of Cookies

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies: Required for core website functionality and cannot be disabled without affecting site performance.
  • Functional Cookies: Remember your preferences to improve your browsing experience.
  • Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how visitors navigate our site (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Advertising Cookies: Used by our advertising partners to deliver, personalize, and measure digital ad campaigns, including retargeted and geofenced advertising.

7.3 Retargeting

We use retargeting technology that allows our advertising partners to show Cooper Equipment Rentals ads to individuals who have previously visited our website while they browse other websites and apps. This is accomplished through cookies and similar identifiers placed by our advertising partners.

7.4 Geofencing

We and our advertising agency use geofencing technology to deliver advertisements based on your approximate geographic location — for example, to reach potential customers near our service areas or specific job sites.

7.5 Third-Party Analytics

We use Google Analytics to analyze website usage and improve our services. For more information on how Google processes data collected through Analytics, visit google.com/policies/privacy/partners. To opt out of Google Analytics tracking, visit tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Right to Correct You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.

Right to Delete You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable legal retention requirements. We will notify you if an exception applies.

Right to Opt Out of Marketing You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any of our emails or by contacting us directly. You may also opt out of interest-based advertising as described in Section 7.6.

We implement and maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include secure data transmission protocols, access controls, and vendor due diligence practices.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is entirely secure. While we work diligently to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that may affect your rights or interests, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
