Company Profile

Cooper Equipment Company was established in November of 1975.  Doyle Cooper, our founder, recognized that owners of petroleum bulk plants had a need for skilled help in maintaining their pumps, meters, loading racks, and spill prevention control and counter measure plans.  He set about to provide such a service for the Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa area.  In a short time, the area come to rely on his competence and concern and Doyle brought his son, Mike, into the business to assist him.  Together they expanded the company to include wholesale sales, excavation, concrete contracting, as well as service.  It became obvious that more employees were necessary to properly care for the increasing customer base.

The growth continued and in 1979, the company was incorporated.  Shortly after, the company expanded into the service station/C-Store business.  Sales, installation, and service of petroleum equipment became a natural for continual growth.  Doyle brought his second son, Gary, into the business and in 1990 moved into our present facility.

Cooper Equipment Company is composed of highly skilled and dedicated professionals in their respective fields.  Construction employees, both supervisory and labor, are factory trained in many areas and have years of experience building fuel dispensing systems.  Service technicians are factory-trained by such reputable manufacturers as Marconi (Gilbarco), Red Jacket, FE Petro, Petro-Vend, O.P.W. Fueling Components and have years of experience troubleshooting and repairing fueling systems and electronic equipment of all types.

Managers and administrators company-wide support the corporate concept that Cooper Equipment Company exists because we have met the needs of our customers in providing merchandise and service of only the highest quality and we consistently provided our customers with a professionally built, on time, environmentally safe, aesthetically appealing completed project.
